Getting started
Everything you need to go from sign-up to your first approved request.

1. Create your account
Go to cleverapprove.de/signup and enter your name (optional), email address, and a password of at least 8 characters.
After submitting the form you'll be redirected to your new account.
Tip: Use a work email address so colleagues can easily identify you in shared workspaces.
2. Create a workspace
A workspace is the organisational container for all your requests, contacts, and members. After signing up you'll be prompted to create one — just enter a name (e.g. your company or team name).
Each workspace has its own:
- Request history and dashboard
- Contact book
- Member list
- Subscription plan
You can manage your workspace settings at any time under Settings in the sidebar.
3. Invite your team
To add colleagues to your workspace, go to Members in the sidebar and enter their email addresses. They'll receive an invitation link by email. Once they accept, they can create and manage requests in your workspace.
Good to know: All plans include unlimited workspace members at no extra cost.
4. Send your first request
Click New request in the sidebar and follow these steps:
- Title — Give the request a clear name (e.g. "Final logo v3 — approval needed").
- Files — Drag and drop your PDFs or images onto the upload area.
- Message — Write a short note to provide context to the reviewer (optional but recommended).
- Recipients — Add one or more recipients. For each one, choose their notification channel: email, SMS, or WhatsApp. You can also pick from your saved contacts.
- Options — Optionally set an expiry date, PIN protection, or customise the approval options.
- Click Send request.
Your recipients will be notified immediately. You can track their responses in real time on the dashboard.
5. Save contacts for reuse
To avoid entering email addresses and phone numbers repeatedly, save frequent recipients as contacts. Go to Contacts in the sidebar and click + New contact.
When creating a request, you can then pick from your contact book with a single click instead of typing addresses manually.
